The RCMP have finished their investigation into the sudden death of a three-month-old girl on the Onion Lake First Nation.

The girl died in a home on the reserve early Sunday morning.

RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Carole Raymond says the investigation found that foul play was not a factor in her death.

Raymond says the cause of death is still not known.

An autopsy was performed yesterday.

It’s not known when final autopsy results will be available.

Raymond says the child’s death has been hard on everyone, including RCMP investigators.
