A former area director with the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan is making an appearance in a North Battleford courtroom today.
Henry Cummings was charged with forgery last summer after an RCMP investigation led to him being charged, in addition to eight other people in the province.
RCMP allege improper conduct was taken during the 2004 MNS election.
Prosecutors are proceeding by indictment against Cummings, which means they are likely seeking jail time.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled to last two days.
