Former Jans Bay Leader Succumbs To Illness

The former mayor of Jans Bay passed away earlier this week after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Louis Morin was the mayor from 1994 through 2000.

Current mayor Ernest Gardiner says Morin was a positive role model in the community.

Morin was 62.

His funeral is slated to take place tomorrow in Canoe Narrows at 3:00 pm.
