A series of town hall meetings on the forestry sector are taking place this week throughout the province.

The sessions began last night in Big River and will run the next three days in Prince Albert, Carrot River and Hudson Bay.

Sask Party MLA Delbert Kirsch says the forestry situation in the province is struggling and it’s time to find out why.

Kirsch adds his party is eager to hear from all stakeholders within the industry, no matter what their job may be.
