Fontaine In Saskatoon For Speaking Engagements

Assembly of First Nations national chief Phil Fontaine was the keynote speaker at a convocation in Saskatoon this afternoon.

The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies held its 2005 Convocation at the Centennial Auditorium.

Over 170 students received diplomas and certificates during today’s ceremony.

Fontaine also spoke at the opening ceremony of Urban Treaty Days in Saskatoon this morning.

The annual event continues tomorrow.
