Fond du Lac Gearing Up For Band Election

An advance poll is taking place today in Fond du Lac as part of the local First Nation’s chief and council election.

The election itself runs this coming Thursday.

Incumbent chief Allan Adam is seeking re-election, but he faces six challengers.

Those candidates include Victor Fern, Diane McDonald, Joe Martin, Adolphus Mercredi, Albert Mercredi and Alex Mercredi.
