Fond du Lac Chief Dies of Cancer

Residents of the Athabasca community of Fond du Lac are grieving the loss of their chief.
Eddie Martin passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer.
His last days were spent at his home in Fond du Lac with his family at his side.
Martin was diagnosed with the illness earlier this year.
Martin was first elected chief of the Fond du Lac First Nation in 1998.
He was 66.
