FNUC Unveils Glass Tipi Monument For War Vets

Thousands of Aboriginal war veterans were honoured today at the First Nations University of Canada in Regina.

The university held its grand opening for the First Nations Veterans Memorial Tipi.

The large glass structure is built into the front of the university’s main building.

Today’s event was timed to coincide with the 64th anniversary of D-Day.

The ceremonies included a warriors lament.
