A student at the first nations university of Canada says the administration has agreed to meet with the students.

The move comes in the wake of a protest Tuesday at the school’s main campus in Regina.

Students were voicing their disapproval over the recent termination of FNUC vice-president Dr. Shauneen Pete.

Vice-president for the student association Thomas Roussin says many students want to know why the move was made.

He adds yesterday’s (tues) demonstration is being hailed as a success.
