The newly-appointed interim president of the First Nations University of Canada says more changes could still be coming to the institution, but only if they’re necessary.

Controversy has plagued the school for the better part of the year.

However, Charles Pratt says he is creating a five-person task force to deal with the problems.

Pratt says the task force will be non-biased and non-political.

He also expects more personnel changes will be coming, but not on a widespread basis.

Pratt won’t say what measures might be taken to address the financial challenges that await the school in the months to come.

However, he did acknowledge declining enrolment is a concern.
