A streamflow flood warning has been issued for the Churchill and Reindeer River Basins.
Bart Ogema, spokesman for the Saskatchewan Watershed Authority, says around 60 millimeters of water has been reported at some water-stations over the past week. Which means the community of Sandy Bay should notice a significant rise in water-levels along the river bank next week.
However, Ogema says the community is not expected to flood.
He adds the lake water levels in Ile-a-la-crosse are also 0.3 meters above the record peak experience in 1997.
Lac La Ronge is also at the high end of its operating range.
