Flags at the Saskatchewan legislature are flying at half-mast today.

Premier Brad Wall made the announcement today in response to the death of Sergeant Darby Morin, a Big River First Nation man, who was killed while serving in the U.S. military.

Morin passed away early Saturday morning when his patrol vehicle rolled near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

The flags will remain at half-mast until Morin’s funeral.
