A total of 111 graduates from the First Nations University of Canada received their diplomas yesterday at the institution’s spring convocation in Regina.

There were graduates from First Nations communities in almost every area of the province, as well as some from Manitoba and B-C.

The First Nations University offers 30 academic programs to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students at 3 campuses in Saskatchewan.

Its northern campus in Prince Albert also offers distance education.
