First Nations Representatives Heading To Peru

Two delegates from the Prince Albert-based First Nations Forum are travelling to South America this weekend.

The pair will meet with an Indigenous tribe from Peru in an effort to advise them on things like resource development and management.

Sol Sanderson is one of the people helping coordinate the project.

He hopes the visit will strengthen ties between the tribe and his organization, and give the South Americans knowledge of how to move forward.

Sanderson says the delegates are scheduled to return on January 17th.
