Experts in the gaming industry are gathered at the Dakota Dunes Casino.

Delegates from across North America are the Whitecap Dakota First Nation for the First Nations Gaming Expo, which is showcasing achievements in the gaming industry, as well as looking at where First Nations want to go with it.

FSIN Chief Lawrence Joseph acknowledges there have been concerns in the past and naysayers who’ve said the gaming industry would bring many problems, including gambling addictions, but he says for the most part, that hasn’t been the case.

Included on the agenda are discussions on gaming jurisdiction in Canada and the United States, as well as a panel discussion on gaming regulations in the two countries.
