Scheduling problems have prompted two Saskatchewan First Nations to postpone a planned expo with Asian investors.

The Beardy’s/Okemasis First Nation and Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation had wanted to bring Chinese business officials to Saskatoon for a four-day event this week.

The hope was First Nations could hook up with Chinese investors to discuss natural resource development opportunities.

However, some of the Chinese delegates couldn’t make this week’s date, so organizers are pushing the event back until April.
