Fake Pink Slip Stunt Angers Cabinet Minister

A government employee in La Ronge is in hot water after allegedly handing out fake pink slips to co-workers after the recent provincial election.

According to a report on CBC Radio, the unidentified Northern Affairs worker pulled the stunt as a joke following the NDP’s Nov. 7th election loss to the Saskatchewan Party.

New Northern Affairs Minister June Draude isn’t amused.

She’s promising the matter will be investigated.
