The next few years could be busy ones for a West Coast mining company looking for uranium near Key Lake.

Forum Development recently announced it has begun searching two main plots of land located 40 kilometres south of the former Key Lake mine.

President and CEO Richard Mazur says a prospector out of Stanley Mission came up with two solid showings from that area last year.

Acting on that tip, the company is now taking steps to determine if enough uranium exists at the site to eventually turn it into a mine.

Mazur adds the company has already done some airborne geophysics work over the winter and is starting other work this summer.
