Escaped Inmate Still At Large

The RCMP say an inmate who escaped from custody at the Melfort courthouse the other day might be on his way to Saskatoon.

23-year-old Levi Keegan Waldbillig bolted from his RCMP escort late Tuesday afternoon as he was being moved with other prisoners from the courthouse.

He was wearing handcuffs at the time, and had just been sentenced to nine months in custody for theft of a vehicle and other items.

Waldbillig is of First Nations ancestry, is 6′ tall, weighs 160 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.

He was wearing glasses, a red baseball cap, a dark-coloured T-shirt and blue jeans.
