A northern First Nation is getting into the diamond drilling market.
The English River First Nation, through their business arm Mudjatic Enterprises, has formed a partnership with Lyncorp Drilling Services.
Their joint venture will provide surface and underground drilling services to Saskatchewan mining operations, starting this month.
The First Nation will hold a 51 per cent controlling interest in the company, which will be known as Mudjatic-Lyncorp Drilling Services.
Its head office will be in Saskatoon, in a commercial development owned by the English River band.
