Elliott Looks Forward To Provincial Election

The man who will represent the Saskatchewan Party in the next election for Athabasca says he’s looking forward to the challenge.
Phil Elliott says it’s time northerners had a party who listened to their concerns.
As the owner of the La Loche gas bar, Elliott recently won a nomination meeting for the right to represent the constituency in the next provincial election.
Elliott says he’s tired of seeing good ideas, such as ways the region could be made better, not being acted upon by the NDP.
He says he believes the Saskatchewan Party is different from the current government, in the way it listens to residents.
Elliott says activity in the Northwest stands to get busier in the next couple of years when the road-link to the oilsands opens.
Elliott says he thanks all the people who showed up to last week’s nomination meeting, as well as fellow contestant Bobby Woods.
