Election Day for English River First Nation

A Northern Saskatchewan First Nation is holding its chief and council election today.

A total of 5 candidates are running for chief of the English River First Nation.

They include incumbent chief Alfred Dawatsare and former chief Archie Campbell.

Also running for chief in Patuanak are Tobie Aubichon, Mary Jane Klassen and Norbert Wolverine.

Meantime, 23 candidates are running for a seat on the English River band council.
