Elders Hold Drug Awareness Walk In Regina

Kookums and Mooshums Against Drugs and Alcohol is holding its 6th annual walk this week.

 

Elders and youth walked together through Regina’s North Central community today to promote drug and alcohol awareness for younger generations.

 

The walk began at the Ochapawace First Nation and will end in Onion Lake in time for the opening ceremonies at the First Nation Summer Games.

 

The marchers will be at the Neekaneet First Nation tomorrow.
