The elder at the Prince Albert Indian Metis Friendship Centre says he will miss the director of a local outreach group.

Ken Ward has worked with Aboriginal people suffering from HIV/AIDS and other ailments for the past 15 years.

The past two were spent servicing residents in Prince Albert and northern communities.

Elder Stuart Amyotte says Ward has been a shining example of generosity for the centre, and says he never saw Ward turn anyone away.

Ward plans to resume his outreach work in Edmonton.
