Eagle Feather News Publisher Given ABEX Award

The publisher of Eagle Feather News has won one of the largest business achievement awards in Saskatchewan.

John Lagimodiere has picked up an Achievement in Business Excellence (ABEX) award for his Aboriginal Consulting Services business and his newspaper, Eagle Feather News.

Lagimodiere won in the Aboriginal Business Category at the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce’s ABEX awards this past weekend in Saskatoon.

He says he’s happy to be recognized as a small businessperson, after 12 years of work.

The ABEX award for Aboriginal Business is awarded to a business or individual who has shown leadership and commitment to the growth of Aboriginal business in the province.
