Ducharme Says Housing Top Issue in Churchill River

The Liberal candidate in the Churchill River riding says “quality of life” issues will be the deciding factor on Election Day, especially housing.

Al Ducharme says the lack of affordable housing in the North has come up numerous times in his campaign stops throughout the riding so far.

Ducharme says the need for affordable housing is on the Liberals’ radar screen, and all options are being considered.

Ducharme feels Aboriginal housing issues will get the most attention from a Liberal government, mainly because of the recent commitments Paul Martin made at his recent summit with Aboriginal leaders.
