Two residents of Buffalo Narrows are facing charges following a drug bust in the northern community.

Members of the local RCMP say they stopped a vehicle in Buffalo Narrows on Friday, and after a search of the vehicle, uncovered a quantity of cocaine.

The Mounties are not saying how much cocaine was seized.

A 40-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were arrested and have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Both have since been released and will appear in a Buffalo Narrows courtroom on August 4th.
