Dirt Bike/SUV Collision Kills Flin Flon Man

A 20-year-old man from Flin Flon was killed yesterday when his dirt bike collided with an SUV in Creighton.

The RCMP say the mishap took place at around 3:30 pm on a local road in the vicinity of the ski hill.

According to the Mounties, the bike ran into the path of the oncoming SUV, lost control, and ended up under the larger vehicle.

The victim was not wearing a helmet, and sustained head and leg injuries.

He was taken to the hospital in Flin Flon but later succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy has been ordered.

The driver of the SUV, a 33-year-old man from Flin Flon, was not hurt.

No charges have been laid, but the investigation is continuing.
