Dion’s Visit To La Ronge Called Off Over Weather

Liberal leader Stephane Dion will not be going to La Ronge tomorrow, after all.
Dion and northern Saskatchewan MP Gary Merasty were planning to attend the Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s annual trappers’ festival in the community and meet with local leaders.
However, the blizzard-like conditions hitting most of the province today have kyboshed those plans.
Officials at Merasty’s office say Dion will visit La Ronge at a later date.
