Deschambault Woman Facing Murder Charge

A 21 year-old woman is set to appear in court today to answer to accusations she killed a man in Deschambault Lake.

RCMP say it was around 9:50 a.m. yesterday when a 38 year-old man was discovered fatally injured on a street.

He was rushed to hospital but died of his injuries.

Yolanda Custer has been charged with second-degree murder.

RCMP spokeswoman Carole Raymond says the force is still looking into the incident.

The Saskatoon major crimes unit has also been called in to assist with the investigation.
