This is Day 2 of the Dene Gathering in Dillon.

Hundreds of Dene people from across western Canada have flocked to the northern community for this year’s event.

Today’s agenda includes an update on Dene land claims and a discussion on the direction of Dene self-government.

Interim Denesuline National Council leader Allan Adam says there’s much to discuss regarding governance issues.
