Police in Prince Albert continue to investigate the suspicious death of a Black Lake resident, but admit they’re no closer to an arrest.
On July 24th, an unconscious man was discovered on a street in downtown Prince Albert.
He was transported to hospital in Saskatoon but died from a number of unspecified injuries.
The man was subsequently identified as 33-year-old Ronald Donald Ettibar of Black Lake and his death was labelled suspicious.
A toxicology report was ordered and the area near where he was found was canvassed for clues.
Sergeant Al Fraser of the Prince Albert Police Service says, to date, 10 to 15 people have been questioned about the death and the file on the case is already 59 pages long.
However, it has not yet been decided whether to treat the matter as a homicide and the investigation goes on.
Fraser says the department still has a few more interviews to do and would like to hear from anyone who might have dealt or talked with Ronald Ettibar in the hours before his death.
Fraser reminds the public they don’t have to show up in person and their calls will not be traced.
