The fiery crash near Deschambault Lake earlier this month has now claimed a sixth victim.

A 40-year-old female passenger, who had been in critical condition in hospital since the June 13th wreck, died from her injuries on Friday.

The RCMP have not identified her, but do say she was from Southend.

Four others killed in the crash were from Deschambault Lake, while another victim was from Pelican Narrows.

All were occupants of an SUV that was broadsided by a semi-trailer unit on Highway 106 after the smaller vehicle abruptly turned in front of the trailing semi.

Five of the victims were trapped inside the burning vehicle, while the sixth was ejected.
