Crash Kills Woman Near Fishing Lake Band Office

A single vehicle rollover on the Fishing Lake First Nation has left one person dead and sent another to hospital.

RCMP Cpl. Constance Roussel says the collision happened on the main grid near the band office, around 7:15 yesterday morning.

A 25-year-old woman from Lipton was killed, and a 30-year-old woman from the Fishing Lake reserve was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

Names aren’t being released.

The RCMP are still investigating the collision.
