Crash Kills Two Near Waterhen Lake

An intersection near the Waterhen Lake First Nation turned deadly last night.

Two people died and four were injured during a single-vehicle accident.

The accident occurred on Hwy. 951, about a kilometrr west of the Hwy. 941 junction.

Meadow Lake RCMP were called to the scene at 5:50 p.m.

They brought in a traffic analyst to determine how the accident happened, and it’s still being investigated.

At this point, the cause of the crash has not been released.

There has been no word on road conditions or other possible factors.

The names of those killed have not been released.
