Prince Albert will host a major conference next week geared at promoting development linkages between northern and southern Saskatchewan.

The event is being organized by the Saskatchewan Economic Developers Association.

SEDA president Dillon Shewchuk says his group is putting on the “Managing Through Change” symposium to better acquaint southern Saskatchewan businesses and agencies with what’s taking place in the North.

Invited guests include the chief of BC’s Osoyoos Indian Band, Clarence Louie, who has been featured in MacLean’s magazine as one of 50 Canadians to watch. Louie will speak about proven best practices in economic development.

The conference runs on October 18th and 19th.
