Clean Up Continues At Plane Crash Site

An environmental clean-up continues today at the site of the plane crash near La Ronge.

La Ronge Fire Chief Ron Pratt says he’s not sure how much fuel may have spilled on the ground after the accident.

Pratt says much of the spill is located in a marsh but any amount is significant when you consider the environment.

He says crews will likely use a floating boom to soak up as much fuel as they can.

Pratt says the oil also constitutes a potential fire risk as well.
