Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River MP Rob Clarke got a warm welcome from his Conservative colleagues from Saskatchewan yesterday.

Clarke became the province’s 13th Tory MP when he claimed the northern Saskatchewan seat from the Liberals with his by-election win on March 17th.

He attended his first Saskatchewan Tory caucus meeting in Ottawa yesterday — and his peers erupted into cheers when he was first introduced.

Tory cabinet minister Gerry Ritz says he enjoyed seeing the expression on Liberal MP Ralph Goodale’s face when Clarke made his debut in the House of Commons earlier this week.
