There has been another helicopter crash in northern Saskatchewan, and it has cost an Alberta man his life.
The RCMP say 50-year-old Bruce Charles Moore of Cold Lake was operating a Bell 204 helicopter when it went down at around 6:00 last night at Riou Lake, southwest of Stony Rapids.
Moore reported problems with his chopper prior to the crash.
He was working for a mineral exploration company.
Last month, choppers conducting the same kind of duties went down in two separate incidents near Stony Rapids and Wollaston Lake.
A man was killed in the crash near Stony Rapids.
