Children Focus of FSIN Cultural Celebration

The FSIN’s annual Cultural Celebration and Pow Wow got underway today in Saskatoon.

 

Children from various schools in the city are at the Centennial Auditorium throughout the day to take part in a variety of workshops on First Nations-based issues.

 

The topics include education, careers, science and cultural awareness.

 

The pow wow officially begins tonight at the Credit Union Centre, with the grand entry slated to begin at 8:00 p.m.

 

Grand entries will also be held Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 12 noon and 7 p.m. each day.
