Child Porn Suspect Makes Court Appearance

A man accused of producing child pornography in Hall Lake made an appearance in court today.
22-year-old James Stanley Roberts was in a La Ronge court room to answer to several charges, including sexual assault and possession of child pornography.
He was arrested last month following a tip from a community member to the local RCMP.
He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance, which is scheduled for March 25th.
The case has rocked the reserve community of Hall Lake.
Following Roberts’ arrest, local officials held a community meeting to try to address the concerns of residents and to let them voice their feelings about the case.
