Cheecham Seeking Re-Election At Clearwater River

Three men have put their names forward to be chief of the Clearwater River Dene Nation.

Incumbent Roy Cheechum and challengers Guy Lemaigre and H.A. Tony Piche will all run in this week’s election.

Meanwhile, a total of 46 band members will compete for five councillor positions.

The election takes place on Wednesday.
