Charles Family Relative Asks For Tips About Fire

The search continues for answers about what caused an fatal apartment fire in La Ronge.
On Friday, a family member of the three people who perished in the blaze spoke to students at a local school.
Alice Charles says the deaths of her grandson, four-month-old Jeremy Charles, and his parents Justin Paul Charles and Marsha McKenzie, have been devastating for the family and the community.
She is asking for anyone with information on how the blaze began to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
“We are left wondering, ‘Why did this happen? Why would anyone do such a careless act to so many people, and causing death to such a young family?'” Charles says.
She adds that people should remember that information about the apartment fire, and the fire in a vacant home later that same night, can be given anonymously.
