Charges Laid In Fatal Rollover Near La Ronge

A 25-year-old La Ronge woman has been charged in connection to a single vehicle rollover near La Ronge this spring that killed two women.

She is facing two counts of impaired driving causing death and two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.

The charges stem from an RCMP investigation into a fatal rollover that took place on May 6th approximately five kilometres southeast of La Ronge.

The early-morning crash claimed the lives of two women from the area — 23-year-old Laura Lee Isbister and 25-year-old Talitha Ann Sanderson.

The identity of the accused will be released once she makes her first court appearance in La Ronge on Monday.
