Case Of Missing Beardy’s Man Ends In Tragedy

The body of a missing man from the Beardy’s/Okemasis First Nation was found on his home reserve today.
RCMP had earlier requested the public’s help in locating 52-year-old Nelson Michael Thomas, who hadn’t been seen by friends and family since 10:00 am Saturday morning.
The Mounties announced the discovery of Thomas’s body shortly after 2:00 this afternoon.
The RCMP’s Saskatoon-based Major Crimes Unit and Identification Section is assisting in the investigation.
Police aren’t saying whether foul play is suspected in Thomas’ death.
No other details are available.
