Car Plunges Through Bridge Guard Rail Into River

The RCMP aren’t sure if charges will be laid in connection to an incident that saw a car crash through a guard rail on the Montreal River bridge in La Ronge.

Spokesman Sgt. Brad Kaeding says the incident happened early yesterday morning.

The vehicle came to rest with its front tires in the water and had to be pulled from the riverbank.

No one was hurt.

Kaeding says the vehicle was never submerged and it doesn’t appear the accident caused any environmental damage.
