Car Hits Man Lying On Road Near Loon Lake

A man is dead after being run over a car in the Loon Lake area.
The Mounties say the victim was lying in the driving lane of Highway 304 between Loon Lake and Makwa at around 6:00 yesterday morning when he was struck.
An autopsy has been ordered.
The driver of the car was a 53-year-old man from Meadow Lake, but the RCMP do not expect to lay charges.
No names have been released.
