Canoe Narrows Man Killed In Rollover

The RCMP say a lack of seatbelt use was one of the factors in a fatal rollover north of Glaslyn early yesterday morning.

The accident claimed the life of a 55-year-old Canoe Narrows man — and sent a 48-year-old woman to hospital with serious injuries.

The man was found dead at the scene.

According to the Mounties, the SUV they were in was heading south on Highway 4 when it crossed over the highway into the ditch, struck an approach and rolled.

The vehicle’s occupants were heading to North Battleford from Canoe Lake.
