Cameco Updates Progress At Two Northern Operations

Cameco has updated its 2008 production forecast for the McArthur River/Key Lake operations.’

 

 

The company says the Key Lake mill’s recent shutdown took longer than expected due to equipment problems during startup.

 

 

The issues has been resolved through equipment upgrades.

 

 

As a result Cameco anticipates its share of uranium production may be zero-point-eight (0.8) million pounds less than the 13.1 million pounds previously anticipated.

 

 

The McArthur river mine continues to produce ore as expected
