Buffalo Narrows Woman Wins Literacy Award

A woman from Buffalo Narrows was honoured at the Saskatchewan Literacy Awards in Regina last night.

Flora Sylvestre was one of two people to receive an award in the learner category for their perseverance in the face of adversity.

The Saskatchewan Literacy Network describes Sylvestre as an incredibly dedicated learner.

Last night’s event was hosted by Lieutenant Governor Lynda Haverstock.
